The Enough Method

The Enough Method

Three stages. One path back to yourself.

From the moment your body registers something — to the moment you decide how you want to respond. Not a script. Not a mindset reset. A practice that gets into the wiring.

Denise Hansard

The pattern has a name. And it has a path out.

Something happens — in a meeting, at the table, on the phone — and before you can decide how you want to respond, something else responds for you. You pull back. You go along. You build the story that makes it okay before the heat has even left your face.

That’s not a character flaw. It’s what happens when something lands in your body and there’s nowhere for it to go. Every time, it takes a small piece of you. Do that year over year and you end up functioning fine — until the next trigger comes and something breaks.

That’s a pattern. Patterns can be interrupted. The Enough Method is how.

“This isn’t therapy. It isn’t mindset work with a new coat of paint. We’re going into the body. That’s not decoration — that’s the whole mechanism.” — Denise
“It isn’t quick. It’s transformational work, and transformational work takes what it takes.” — Denise
“You’re done disappearing.” — The line this method is built around

The Three Stages

You learn them in order. Then the order stops mattering.

Real life doesn’t hand you one stage at a time. The method gets into you until you’re not running a process — you’re just handling it.

Regulate

Hear the signal

What’s happening in your body, in the moment it’s happening. Not the story about it — the actual physical thing. Your throat, your gut, your shoulders. If you don’t know what the pattern is, you have nothing to change.

What changes You can see the difference between current information and an automatic protection response.

Anchor

Come back to yourself

Awareness on its own leaves you standing there knowing exactly what’s wrong with nowhere to put it. Anchor is what you reach for. There are many tools — you’ll end up keeping two or three that are genuinely yours.

What changes You stay in the conversation without disappearing, erupting, or handing the decision to urgency.

Embody

Choose how you lead

This is the part where you stop deciding to pause. Your body gets there before your thinking does. One day something hard happens and you handle it — and only realize afterward that you never braced.

What changes Your voice, your limits, and your presence reflect the leader you have chosen to be.
