Each talk can be shaped around your organization’s audience, industry, and goals. Reach out to start that conversation.

Everyone Comes to You. When Did You Stop Coming to Yourself?

The most trusted women in any organization share a pattern: they carry the team, the meeting, the family, and the emotional weight of everyone around them, and they make it look effortless. This talk names what that costs, why it happens, and what it looks like to lead from a place that is full instead of depleted. Attendees leave with a clear-eyed diagnosis of where they disappear and one immediate practice to start changing it.

Best for: women’s leadership conferences, ERG keynotes, annual leadership summits.

You Are Already Enough. Now What?

Women have been told to believe they are enough, and then handed another list of things to fix. This talk takes the concept seriously and goes further. It is for the woman who has done the work, knows her worth, and still talks herself out of the ask, the promotion, or the room she belongs in. She does not need more confidence. She needs a different relationship with what her body already knows. This is that conversation.

Best for: women’s leadership conferences, career development programming, professional association events.

The Invisible Cost of Being the Woman Who Makes It Look Easy

Organizations pour resources into attracting senior women leaders. Far fewer ask what it costs those women to stay. This talk makes the invisible visible: the second-guessing, the over-preparation, the energy spent managing rooms that already respect them. It is a business case and a human one. Attendees gain language for what has been happening and a path toward leadership that does not require them to disappear inside it.

Best for: DEI and talent retention programming, HR leadership events, women’s ERG summits.

What organizations say

Denise did an amazing job speaking to our YPF group. She engaged the audience and kept things interesting while giving a keynote on passion vs. purpose. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
Jill Faber, Young Professionals of Fond du Lac
Denise was able to resonate with a variety of individuals using an engaging and consultative approach. Her presentation was both intellectually stimulating and applicable to the transition process and larger goal setting. She gave realistic tips without overwhelming and coached them to make the right decisions for their own paths. The session was more like a conversation between friends than a presentation.
Michelle Tasevski, Right Management
I interviewed Denise for an expert call for my Strategic Success Club. The call was great, and she gave us a lot of wonderful information we could implement right away. Denise knows what she’s talking about!
Tara Truax, Author, Who the Hell Am I to Start a Business?
Thank you Denise for facilitating an awesome event!

Denise Hansard

The woman in the room who understands your room

Denise Hansard spent more than two decades inside corporate leadership — pricing work at Thermo Fisher and Medtronic, healthcare crisis rooms, and the organizational middle where one person is expected to translate every competing demand into something everyone else can live with.

She knows that room. She has been the woman in it.

Today she coaches women leaders — directors, senior directors, and the women heading toward those roles — who are trusted with real responsibility and have become skilled at editing themselves out of their own decisions in the process. Her talks name the pattern most organizations never see: the woman who makes the impossible look workable, and the quiet cost of doing it for years.

Audiences describe her as disarmingly direct, warm enough to tell you the truth in a way you can actually use, and specific enough to feel like she was in the room with them. She holds a master’s in counseling, is trained in trauma-informed coaching, and has coached women leaders since 2013.

She has spoken for healthcare organizations, national professional associations, Fortune 500 companies, universities, and women’s leadership groups. Audiences range from 50 to 250.
